despite the awfully cold weather, toronto is my new favorite city. it has everything that i look for in a place to live (i.e. big city, public transportation, and abundant chinese food). and despite the 15% tax, i really think the shopping is much better there, both price and selection-wise. while los angeles miserably fails the public ( Read more... )

prime rib w/ horseradish sauce
lemon-olive oil green beans
mashed potatos
latkes w/ smoked salmon, sour cream and scallions

the prime rib was ridiculously easy to make at home and better than most i've tried at restaurants. gone are the days of eating turkey or ham on christmas!

having decided that my notes, the professor's lecture slides, and the casebook all really suck in explaining the exon-florio provision for my int'l bus trans exam tomorrow, i typed it into google and clicked on the first result. lo and behold, the professor lifted the text VERBATIM from the u.s. treasury's website and into his lecture slide. hmph ( Read more... )
