BIRTHDAY SHENNANIGANS!

Celebrate my Quarter-Centennial at the Piratz Tavern on Saturday October 24th! I'll be rolling in at around 7:30 or so to make sure they've given us the LARGEST POSSIBLE TABLE. I'm making a reservation for about 20 but if you jerks could RSVP, I'd appreciate knowing if I need more or less of their space

my sister taught me a neato trick - when making a wishlist/registry of any sort, for a store that you can physically go to (like say a target), you list a whole bunch of fluff at a set price. and when you inevitably get 3 santoku knives, a slow-pitch softball bat, a 22 gallon aquarium, all with gift receipts, you can take all of that stuff back to the store for credit, and then get what you really wanted, without the judgmental eyes of all your peers examining the things you claim to want.
