Yesterday after summer school Sean and I went back to Pali to look for people taking summer school there, but found that it was mostly 9th and 10th graders. We found Sam B, though, so we picked him up and then. Eventually we went to the Promenade and saw Spider-Man 2 with a bunch of people. I've been excited about seeing the movie for awhile now

no one could take a comic book movie seriously because comic books are a complete joke to begin with. i keep hearing all this, "the movie was sappy and cheesy and lame." but thats why they made it.

"Hellboy" was made that same way, but that was terrible all around because there was no character development and it was a boring story (in my opinion, at least).
Comic-books pretty much exaggerate everything, so that's the way they made the movie (but to a reasonable extent, since it's still a movie), with Stan Lee having a say in it.
