Yesterday after summer school Sean and I went back to Pali to look for people taking summer school there, but found that it was mostly 9th and 10th graders. But now that I've been thinking about it, I kind of like the way it ended, and the "cheesy" dialogue doesn't seem too "cheesy" when you think of it in a comic-book sense.

at least someone agrees with me!

no one could take a comic book movie seriously because comic books are a complete joke to begin with. i keep hearing all this, "the movie was sappy and cheesy and lame." but thats why they made it.

Yeah, for sure.

"Hellboy" was made that same way, but that was terrible all around because there was no character development and it was a boring story (in my opinion, at least).

Comic-books pretty much exaggerate everything, so that's the way they made the movie (but to a reasonable extent, since it's still a movie), with Stan Lee having a say in it.

i sort of liked the cheesy dialogue. the "if you punch me, i'll bleed" line from peter parker, or tobey mcguire, was the funniest thing I've never heard.
