I'm so freakin' mad! It's my family again. They cannot understand anything. As we (teenagers) grow older we're suppose to have more freedom but instead my freedom decreases every year. I swear when I get out of high school I'll be one of those dumb girls who have never DONE ANYTHING and will be used by people and I won't even know it. Why? because ( Read more... )

I kinda know how you feel. Up until a little while ago, I was pretty much the same as you. I was always home on the weekends, never went anywhere.

I guess one of the things you can do is, if you are going out with a bunch of people, be honest about it. Where you're going, what you'll be doing, and who you'll be doing it with. And it never hurts to be home before your curfew! Try to start showing your responisble side, and start off with gatherings of people going to see a movie or something.. in other words, don't let your first 'official' outing be a party where things can get out of hand.

Well yea I have been honest about everything this year, but everything I do I still feel as if they don't believe me...and I dont feel like doing anything if they dont trust me..hmm yea it takes time..but I'm going to grade12 =( They had a talk with me the other day and they still treated me like a lil 6 year old, ahhhhhh!
Thanks for the advice!! I WILL be honest and take responisibility =) It's time for me to grow up! LOL

I will try to.. *sigh* I must get a job this summer.. *sigh again* Oh, and another thing, sometimes it helps when your parents know some of your friends, so get them to come over and hang out, so they can see they aren't a bunch of drug dealers

That IS quite true. No drug dealers! Haha. Well where do you want to apply or have you? I need a job too, to pay for the mini trips next year..i wanna help out with money and stuff for my family cause Tiff we are going to spend BIGGGG money next year with pictures, prom, banquet..everything. Can you believe it?! We are graduating, quite depressing but happy at the same time.
