When i woke up this morning the pipes were frozen in my house, since it was only 21 BELOW ZERO yesterday night! So, this meant no water, shower, or toilet for the majority of my day. i felt like a Cambodian

the heat in my fiance's place comes from pipes., yeah
the pipes didnt work for three days straight when we went into our chicago below zero temps
...
and the windows are bent and dont shut all the way, which helps to keep the snow out since the apartments half underground
