Why can I never win? I haven't won a poker game in months. And when I do win...there's 5 people playing.
Last night I came in 3rd out of 12. Sonofabitch. The second game I came in 5th out of 10...but I was pretty toasty by then. I will be a poker superstar someday. Yes...a supermodel superpoker superstar!!! Small goals people...small goals.

ok, so if i'm coming up for another larp (will be in Charlton) the weekend of September 8thish, and came in a night early (Thursday?), and you somehow aren't sick, would poker be possible? or pitch?

i was also going to ask you about chili cook-off, but i sense that might be more problematic, although i will be in Hebron every weekend for a month.

That is not true. I was all over the place in that first game. Not that you would know since you were out *way* before I was. :P
I have stepped up my game a bit. I'm not as conservative as I use to be. Unlike you, I'm not a huge fan of raising big before the flop, but I do my fair share of raising when I feel the time is right. I might not take as many chances as you do, but that's not why I don't win.
