Technically, genevra and I are imports too, having been born in Kingston, NY. But we were imported to MN at an early enough age (the summer after 1st grade and Kindergarten respectively) that we did get Minnesotafied. We learned important things, like it is Duck, duck, grey duck, not Duck, duck, goose.
