Maybe it's the royal we.

the question is a little oddly worded and a little peculiar in tone. Just sayin.

Hey there,
thanks for posting the Gay Rights whisper, I have reposted it on my journal, so hopefully a lot of my friends will - I can return the favour now, have you seen this?

On October 5, people everywhere will walk out of school, take off work, and come to the downtowns & townsquares and set out from there, going through the streets and calling on many more to join us - making a powerful statement: "NO! THIS REGIME DOES NOT REPRESENT US! AND WE WILL DRIVE IT OUT!"

Here is the web link for you and anyone reading your journal:

Not being in the US, I wanted to make sure someone who was got to see this link!

Kindest Regards,
Sacred Harlot.

Hmmm . . .
I believe in human rights. I don't know of any which are particular to gays (a poorly-defined, very fuzzy-edged category to begin with). So I don't believe in "gay rights".

In fact, I'm quite regretful that the advocates of "gay rights" are so politically naive and inept. That marriage thing has been handled catastrophically. Most women are unmarried. Less than a quarter of households have children. The oldest people are the fastest-growing demographic (percentage-wise). Our entire culture is confronting major questions about the organization of living arrangements and delivery of services. (School financing is crashing . . . )
So to focus on "just us" and be blind to the potential of allying with a substantial majority of the total population, is really . . . let's leave it at inept.
