So....we got written up at Moviepoopshoot...if you don't know this check ok almost every single friend of mines page. It was great, thrilling that he loved it, that he wrote about it.

I don't totally dread it...I think that reasoned growth is not a bad thing, I just can't go whole heartedly into the bouncy isn't it great mode.

I had a great talk with our division head tonight and I learned and got some good feedback that I am not alone in my concerns about how we grow. We shall see what the year brings

I honestly don't think a good write up like that will necessarily translate into hundreds of additional memberships. We'll see, but I doubt it. (Keep in mind, this is a fairly new site, and not accessible behind most corporate firewalls.)

I don't think we should be blind to potential problems -- both short term ones and long term ones. And there are a lot that are going to come up in the next five years or so. (In fact, I'd like to do a panel on precisely that next year.)

[And I think we may need to educate people more so they don't abuse it. I think one of the big pluses of Robert's article is he made it clear that it was a community-built operation, and that people need to help.]
