Elevators are not only for making out on Grey's Anatomy. I can personally swear to having used a number of elevators extensively for that purpose. (The best one I know of - did you ever go in the really slooooooow elevator in Pastore? That one was excellent.)

Oh, I have since learned that they earned that reputation on TV for a reason.

Can't speak to the slowness of the Pastore one, but as a former RA in Butterfield, I'd be lying if I said I had never used it for any such purpose. Yay RA perks!
