on my own list, I have: called the vet and left a message. called the mammogram people and left a message, given the cat a pill (thus causing his rescue from where he had been hiding in my tower when the door got closed). walked the dog.
I have also accidentally obtained a need to go out to a science/art coop meeting.
OK, helped with the collage, the information age study (which is super unwieldy... someone remind me, what do you do when the curricula goes off the deep end?), and the treasure hunt. Also worked on two other projects w/ Horseboy (assembling an old adventure set, so we can market it and sell it; creating faux portals on his walls), scheduled the mammogram and the vet visit, thought about the West Virginia summer study, walked the dog some more, attended the science/art coop meeting, and did much of the making dinner stuff.
Hmmmm, yes, you are right, I probably could have done that. Between fatigue and stress small rational things are slipping away from me. I'll try to take that one on.
In addition to some of the things here that get repeated daily for the foreseeable future, I also part of the Teddy Roosevelt video and talked with the boys about our summer explorations.
I tried to read a chapter of Hornblower and the Hotspur, but I was on the patio with the dog and she relaxed enough to actually come up onto the patio, only to find out that sure enough it's a horrible awful place where she accidentally knocks over a chair, and soda, and book, and me, and then winds up not attached to me anymore and unsure of where to go when she's done bolting. I was able to get her back easily enough, so you can all just affectionately laugh at me now.

My house could certainly use a good sweeping, and I have laundry to put away, but I do believe Max would take umbrage with a pill-for-no-reason.
