Poly in the Oxford English Dictionary! And for books, The Ethical Slut is pretty light, everything except the title that is.

I think of The Ethical Slut being more for a how-to mentality, than just an understanding what other people are doing, but maybe I'm wrong. I think the title would bother her. And I may be confused about some of the content, because I think I read that at the same time as The Bottoming Book, and I'm trying to remember how brazen/graphic/illustrated The Ethical Slut is.

It is a how-to, you're right about that. Its not very illustrated at all, and I dont remember thinking its brazen...but my gauge for that is probably whacked. Another option is Open All the Way: Confessions From My Open Marriage.
