BEING AWAKE AT 2 AM, DRINKING ROOT BEER, does not make my mind very coherent. Better than drinking real beer, naturally, but I haven't drunk pop in over a year, so it might as well be. Feeling slightly buzzed, can't fathom what sleep is anymore, and am listening to soft rock. Not very good signs

Once again, applecede's recommendation leads me somewhere totally worthwhile. Oh, I'm tearing up. The empty spaces got to me! >_< And the nightmares part as well. The first two sentences are so great, too. They got me hooked immediately. And I love the trio. This one-shot is OMGth3gr8est!!11

I think ff.net would allow more people to see your brilliant work. *grin* But LJ is cool, too. I usually just post in both, except for drabbles, which I just restrict to my LJ posts.

I know what you mean, though; I love the trio. Love writing them, though so far the only appearances they've had is in my old fic.

wow. this is beautiful. i dont think i can stress that enough.
everything seems so vivid and real... i especially like the bit about the empty spaces, but the entire premise is lovely.
i havnt read any other writings of yours, except what's on , but i adore this.

But it’s things like their catastrophic cooking attempts, and things like the chocolate frog box that sits by the garbage bin that make waking into mornings easier, and the days better. Because then it means that Ronald Weasley has missed the bin again. It means Hermione Granger will soon be yelling, and Harry Potter hiding a grin. It means that they are still there after all their nightmares, and that they are still together.
It means that that today will be another day for the trio. And that means everything.

AWW. Thanks so much for the comment; it made me feel so good. (Before my ego deflated and floated rightly back down to earth. :P) But of course I wouldn't mind if you friended me! (And I will be posting both here and on ff.net, with the same things, with LJ keeping drabbles and other short things, I suppose.) Yeah, LJ is SO much easier in terms of reading and comments. The little "REVIEW" box on ff.net just tees me off for some reason. Though it may just be me... Yeah, it's probably just me. :P

I think Lee may have a point in getting a fandom journal. I didn't even know about this until she posted an entry on it. *contemplates LJ fandom journal* Nayahh, I'm tooeffing lazy :)

However the space between Charlie and Fred Weasley was one created on the day of the picture, marking where Percy should be adding to the row of redheaded brothers. Percy came back to them, in the end. Weasleys stuck together, and he had come. But he’d been gone just as quickly.

That was the saddest part in the entire one shot. The Weasley's are so tightly knit together that any cracks in the family just make me bawl. You included a lot of details of what would be different after the War, and they were all GREAT. They really elevated the fic and made it more real. Gorgeously, angsty, funny sad. I loved it!

HAHAHA WOW. You've resisted Lee longer than I have. Well, she can't call you up at random hours and force you, but still. You two talk online, and apparently she'll still let the conversation go if you refuse to. I am in deep admiration. :P

A nice balance of melancholy, angst and rejuvenation. Definite images of Spring after Winter coming to mind. It's great to read something by you again :-) And I'm very glad to hear you're still cracking your whip at the 'Everything I know' rewrite.

About the LJ/Ff.net thing. I don't really visit fanfiction.net unless I receive an author alert. I do find that particularly helpful as I might not have time to surf through all the LJ accounts I have bookmarked. It's good just to go into hotmail and see if my fave authors have posted something. LJ's are great as well though. And I honestly won't mind what you do as long as you keep the fic coming as often as you can ;)

Haha YES I am still cracking my whip. :P And yeah, I know what you mean about the alerts; I rarely surf through ff.net to look for anything anymore. I'll just post to both (LJ will probably be the faster of the two to get things, since it's so much easier), but have a notification list for those who want to be on it? Damn. That's complicated. Oh well. I asked for it. :P
