Unlike Siwon, Kangin doesn't have the charms or resources to help him sail through life. Siwon has money, and thus is able to buy brand name clothes and expensive cars while Kangin has to work three part time jobs to be able to pay his bills. Siwon is ranked first in his class because he's a genius, while Kangin is ranked last because he always falls asleep in class due to working until late at night. While Siwon is handsome and pleasant to everyone, Kangin is scruffy looking and fights with anyone he doesn't like. They're so different one wouldn't be able to tell that they're cousins.
Kangin growled as yet another person bumped into him. "YAH! Watch where you're going!"
"Sorry, sorry!" The person scurried away.
"Bastard!" Kangin shouted after him.
What a morning! First he forgot to set his alarm, so he was late for school, and now, because there was a hole in his bike, he had to walk to school.
He groaned in pain as his foot hit a rock. "Could this day get any worse?!"
As if on cue his cousin, Siwon, appeared in his peripheral vision and began to wave at him. "Hyung!"
Kangin quickened his pace. He wanted nothing to do with Siwon right now. "Think happy thoughts, Kangin. Think about Sungmin. Do not think of your asshole cousin. Do not think--"
Siwon took Kangin's speeding up as a sign that he should too. "Hyung! Wait!" Siwon huffed as he ran to catch up with Kangin. "Hyung!"
Kangin reluctantly turned his head and sneered. "Oh? So, you're running to school today? Where's your driver huh? Did he quit because your eyebrows bugged him too much?"
"No, he didn't. He's sick. Anyways, I just wanted to walk to school with you, hyung. We hardly talk these days."
"You just want something don't you? What is it, huh? Tell your poor, old hyung." Kangin laughed sarcastically. "Hyung can get anything for you."
"But, hyung, I don't want anything!" Siwon looked at Kangin with big, innocent eyes.
That look did it. Kangin stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and turned to fully face Siwon. He glared straight into his eyes. "Don't fuck with me today," He said dangerously. "You and I both know that you only talk to me when you want something, so spit it out before I'm tempted to bruise your pretty face."
Siwon, who was tired of playing innocent already, sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Okay, fine. You know Sungmin hyung right?"
"What about him?"
"I like him."
