Raw 15th Anniversary

I will say I thought last nights Raw was phenomenal. I loved the clip segments they put together and the whole show brought back alot of good memories. It still surprising to think that I've been watching Raw for 15 years now. That's half my life. The only disappointment was there was no appearance by The Rock. Raw and the WWE made The Rock, and it ( Read more... )

It was awesome. Hogan seemed less...hogan than usual. He seemed to be only interested in making sure that he got his American Gladiator crap out to the audience, and that the anniversary was second to his stuff. RVD's match was too short (BUT FUCKING AWESOME that he was there)

I agree that the Rock should have been there, but Stone Cold was the right ending to the show, and I'd imagine the Rock would want to be the top spot. Of course, I wanted to see more of Molly Holly than just seeing that she was backstage, too.

I marked out a lot last night. Steve Blackman, man! Gangrel! A Million Dollar Buyout in a battle royal! And most of the clip montages they showed were cool too. I hope this'll be available on DVD or something, I'd definetely like be able to watch it again.

If only they could put on a show like that every week...

Weeeelll... in the Rock's defense, he's owned by Disney now.
And you don't cross the Rat. The Rat makes Vince look like a pansy ass weakling like Jimmy Hart (without a megaphone or his wrestlers).

Also, if I were him, I'd be very leery of staying too close... Hogan's movie career has been... colorful, as has most of the other wrestlers-cum-actors. Then again, I stopped following the WWF before Raw ever came about, so I'm used to a slightly less dramatic memory of wrestling.

Speaking of Hogan, with the money issues and his divorce looming, he might have been a little distracted.
