A Stolen List... Passing It Around

Jun 11, 2005 17:11

Firsty I would like to say sorry I don't know how to cut so it'll be a little long. If anyone can give me the name of a website that will teach be how to cut down posts I would be thankful. Anyway, here we go.

1. List 10 things you can do for yourself, not someone else, to treat yourself with the care you deserve.

1. Compliment myself.
2. Take care of my body.
3. Indulge in my guilty pleasures.
4. Smile at least ten times a day.
5. Sing whenever the mood hits me.
6. Stop to treasure the little things that make me happy.
7. Breathe when I find myself becoming overwhelmed.
8. Talk to people about how I am feeling before my emotions take control.
9. Laugh whenever I need to, even if the joke is corny or the mood is supposed to be serious.
10. Take a long bath and let all of my worries fade away with a good book, warm water, and sweet smelling bubbles.

2 .What are three external things you wish you could change about yourself and why?

1. My weight.
2. I'd like a better butt or just any butt at all considering I lack one overall.
3. I wish I could remove the scar on my right thigh.

3. What are three internal things you wish you could change about yourself and why?

1. I wish I could be more outspoken.
2. I wish I could be more confidant.
3. I wish I didn't let people walk all over me.

4. If the answers to #2 and #3 are changes that feasibly could be made:

a. What prevents you from making the changes?

2.1. I honestly have no idea. Some mental stipulation maybe. I keep trying and failing.
2.2. I don't know if it is feesible. It might just be impossible to give me a butt without plastic surgery and I am not willing to go under a knife.
2.3. I don't think it's feesible. Though I might just look into it.
3.1. I think that being more outspoken has a lot to do with my confidence. Hence if I could bring that up a little more I would be in better shape.
3.2. I think losing weight would help. It also helps that I have a man in my life who thinks I am beautiful no matter what.
3.3. Once more I think this might have a bit to do with confidence. That and the fact that I tend to be a touch too nice.

b. What is the first step to take?.

Well... I would have to say to cut out junk food probably. Fast food and soda are my enemies. The sooner I learn that the better off I will be. Being a little nicer to myself might help too. Hard to say exactly what the best first step would be.

5. What is the nicest/kindest/most positive thing ever said to you?

"Baby, I know that you can't be happy all of the time, but know that I love you all of the time. That gives me comfort during my day and allows me to focus on what it is that I have to do; whether it is work or just not being bored, thinking on you makes my heart light and my resolve resound. I love you honey and I can't wait until I can see you."

6. What is the meanest/harshest/most negative thing ever said to you?

"You're a waste of space and a horrible friend. You should just kill yourself and do everyone else a favor."

7. What is the nicest/kindest/most positive thing you ever said to a person?

Okay it's a touch long so bear with me. "How do I know I love you? Why not ask a bird how it knows to fly or a fish to swim. Nothing is more natural than my desire to be with you. I've never felt as complete as I do now, lying in your arms. I know I'm safe under your guard and have never found any form of security so comforting and necessary. I can find myself in your eyes, after years of searching and I know that in your eyes I am beautiful and nurturing. I am the woman to compliment your man and nothing could be more alluring. You make my knees weak and my breath short and yet I know if I fell you'd be there to catch me. My every thought consists of you, conscious or otherwise. I can say without a doubt in my mind and with all of my body, heart, and soul that you are the love of my life and I will never let go. "

8. What is the meanest/harshest/most negative thing you ever said to a person?

"You are like a moral vaccum. You breed lies and this omission is a way of life."

9. What is your most __(insert word from below)__ memory?

happiest loving awe-inspiring saddest painful
proudest scariest humbling treasured

I am going to go with scariest since it's fairly recent. It was telling Russ I loved him. We had only been together a short time and while I wanted to tell him I was also terrified it would drive him away. Thankfully however when I told him, after much pleading on his part, he stayed right where he was.

10. What are three things you want to do/accomplish before you die?

1. I would like to have a family.
2. I would like to travel through Europe.
3. I'd like to spend an evening in the arms of my one true love looking out over the ocean.

11. Gene Wilder or Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka?

I love Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka. However I also just plain love Johnny Depp. I think that Johnny will fit into this particullar remake of the movie, however, I think that he wouldn't have been as great in Gene had he been originally cat (though he wasn't old enough and blah blah) in the first movie.

12. You are driving down the road in a two-seater car* and pull up to a bus stop where three people are very anxiously waiting for the bus. All three are in a rush to get where they are headed. The people waiting are:. Your best friend. A pregnant lady going into labor. Your perfect soul-mate. What do you do?
* (the car will Only hold two people, no sitting on laps etc.)

I would take the pregnant woman to the hospital. If it's my best friend she will understand. Kat tends to be that way after all. As for my perfect soul-mate if it was indeed my perfect soul-mate than he will be there for the remainder of my life whether I pick him up or not.

13. If you could have one “superhero”/magic ability, what would it be?

I'd like to be able to talk to animals. Crazy as it may seem I think it would be interesting to know what they think and things that they have seen or heard.

14. What is one piece of invaluable advice that was given to you over the years?

"Find joy in everything that you do because if you have the strength to open your eyes in the morning than you should find comfort in the fact that you are alive and life is a gift far more beautiful than any other."

15. Read your answers to #1 again…. DO THEM!!
