The media is badly in need of a code of ethics; it's their job to analyze/criticize the different approaches to the issues--a civilized debate perhaps?--not to spin everything and do the work of the campaigners for them. It was also amusing to read about Crossfire's damage control http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A43775-2004Oct18.html; Robert Novak (aka the Douche bag of Liberty) and James Carville came out at the end of crossfire on Monday, reading two carefully selected comments from viewers, and saying Jon was overrated and uninformed.
