I must say, I feel incredibly abandoned by the American financial aid system. No better way to cheat a girl that to promise her financial aid only to inform her that that all changed while she is halfway around the world

I feel for you. Pitt Financial Aid seems to ignore students who study abroad and all you get is a bunch of trouble. I also had problems with them when I came back from Japan (they weren't going to give me any financial aid either). The reason they said was that I hadn't earned any credits the previous semester(even though by this time both Study Abroad and the Registar's office had my transcript from Kansai Gaidai). I suggest asking for a transcript from your first semester ASAP after finals are over and send it to stupid Financial Aid. This may solve your problem.

no, it is because i need aid for a 9th term at school, nevermind I wasnt slacking off in the other 8 terms. just one more term! rawr. it is so close that this makes me sooooo annoyed.

I think I'm going to start having financial aid troubles too soon. Since I'm going to Osaka for 6 months (Starting in May) for a JETRO internship. Which means only like 3 credits for that semester, plus it's going to be my 9th term...

I will still be in Japan then, so come and see kyushu! :-D or else i will come see you. i wanna see osaka aquarium, osaka castle and osaka street food. and eat street food too. maybe i will have this worked out by then...
