Hah, both books are parts of seriesTell Me Pretty Maiden is the most recent in the Molly Murphy mystery series. Basically she's an Irish immigrant detective in the early 1900s NYC. It's a pretty entertaining series, but suspend your disbelief a bit (some of the characters are almost too modern to be believed and everything always seems to be tied together in the end).
The Castle of Llyr is the third book of Prydain Chronicles series (The first two being The Book of Three and The Black Cauldron). It's about Eilonwy who goes to the Isle of Mona to live with some royal relatives in order to be learn how to be a proper princess. If you've never read the Prydain Chronicles I definitely recommend you do! It was one of my favorite series growing up.
I know this reply is late, but I just finished Austenland and The Blood of Flowers...oneglimringsoulJuly 22 2008, 16:29:57 UTC
I took a look around for that book at my job, but we dont have it. (The Castle of Llyr, mind you.). Would it be easier to find at the library or Barnes and Noble you think? There is a childrens/teen library with a decent adult fiction section across the road from my job.

It's good to get an update from you, and it sounds like you're getting adjusted well.
I wish I were reading something fun now -- I'm still stuck in school-mode (and during that time, I never read any "fun" published works). :(
