You know, both you and I have spent so long lamenting our respective prideful natures . . . but without them, where would we be? Rather, who would we be? I suppose that without pride, independence is a very hard virtue to obtain.

Traits get bad when they are manifested to excess, though, and I think that both you and I might have a wee lil' problem there . . .
