I'm scrounging around desperately for something more interesting to talk about than packing, and from here it looks like today did poorly on the big ratings chart in the sky. Honestly, I've been fooling with Google Image Search for probably the past hour. The Anna Nicole Show is better than this ( Read more... )

Scout works in an interesting way, doesn't she? Guess I'm lucky in that way... she hasn't tried to kill me yet. But she does try to get me to play with her on sight. I don't wear anything that screams "I like playing stuff" now do I?

Erin, simply put, your dog rocks. If at any point you don't want i'll take her in a heartbeat. Also, I'm sure your "words" would be great to hear. i think everyone has soemthing incredible to offer this world. From a book, to a helping job, or designing a bridge, or writing a computer program of some sort. Anyone can do anything that in some small way "saves the world...lets hear it for the belief in HUMAN POTENTIAL

.....hurrah

Erin, your dog is awesome simply because she's so accessible and transparent. My speck of a Yorkshire Terrier is so fickle, so moody and independent, that I might as well own a cat.

I mean, seriously. Walking over to me, dropping a misshapen frisbee at my feet, and staring those large sad eyes at me is more heart-wrenching than any other canine action I can think of.

Parks and his Christianity can go shove it. Sorry if I offend, but honestly, the man does not know how to seperate his views from the curriculum he is supposed to uphold. However, he is probably one of the most intelligent teachers at Lake, sadly. The man is incredible . . . just have a conversation with him sometime. I just hate the way he teaches. Basically, he promotes one style of writing, and if you deviate from it at all, you get a C. My highest grade on a paper all year was an 83, regardless of all the 100s I got for mechanics and "rule-following." Sigh. The only people that ended up with A's in the class were Shilpi and Katherine (both of whom are at Stanford), Shalin (at UPenn), and Will Burns (valedictorian). OUT OF 60 PEOPLE. Okay, enough ranting.

The Google Images search engine is addictive. I, too, have spent hours looking up random words or phrases just to see what comes up. Erin, maybe we shouldn't live together next year . . . I'm scared.
