there is some damn bug in OSX that disappears applications from my hard drive faster than you can say "pinochet," and the fourth livejournal update program in a semester has just fallen victim. i don't understand.

you could sure use some physical activities in between all that indoor stuff. how's bout getting some soccer in there... or perhaps hard manual labor (which of course would be helping me move). I mean really, you can't call it summer until you're out sweating under the sun.

seen it-- it is cute, isn't it?

i haven't updated my osx _or installed itunes 4, and this is a mysterious happening that's been happening from day 1. it disappears safari every now and then too and i have to download it alll over. i have no idea; it doesn't seem to matter, and as someone who spent a significant portion of her day today monkeying with MS Word in the vain attempts to complete simple obvious tasks, i can safely say i will not be switching *back* anytime soon. after all, limited fixing power is an aspect of limited problems to fix.

as for soccer, mr. health-and-outdoor activity, well, i could probably use a bit of practice kicking elusive, fast-moving objects. you're on.

After playing about 2 hours of soccer today, well, i must say... nothing else comes even close. sorry all you other weaker sports advocates.

as for your computer problems, well... i guess you're paying the MAC cute tax. You know, actually i think the resurgence of apple into the home computing market is a terrible thing as a whole. I mean, seriously, windows 98 was like vietnam. And I'll tell you, the survivors have been trained to tackle almost anything.

Oh and by the way, about the fax thing, I used to a program called WinFAX that did the same thing back when I had Win95. I think it came with the operating system. This was eight years ago. Once again, the apple cute tax kicks in.

Give in to the operating system, even if you still hate the enemy.

just another reason to make the switch back. i mean come on, you can't fix anything without a toolkit you poor powerless mac users.
