double standard

my employer --which ostensibly adheres to a nondiscrimination policy-- offers me unequal pay for equal work. how can this be? my family of two must pay for two separate medical policies whereas married coworkers pay for only one. i know, employer insurance is considered a benefit and not salary, but the direct effect is the same: less take-home pay ( Read more... )

Is it possible that the policy is due to the health insurance provider and not your employer?
