for anyone that has verizon..

when you send a text to another verizon user. when you go to your outbox, does that little check next to the message indicate that their phone received the text or that they read the text?

it's been three years and i still try to figure this out. lol

I want to say it's for when they receive it. But I'm still not entirely sure either....

umm, i think when they open it?

its def. when they recieve it (not open it) because i've sent texts before in the middle of the night (yes, i'm weird like that) and it'll show the check even though the person doesn't open it and read it until the morning
