and all we really wanted

I like this but in your mind, is this a positive or a negative poem? I was more curious about the last few lines and what you meant by them:

reading that it seems quite a shallow emotion. But maybe you don't want the baggage or depth that goes along with them ... I was just wanting to know what those lines meant to you.
