So exciting! When in the storyline does this game take place? Sora looks like the first game's design.

If you're talking about the one on the bottom right, that is Riku. It's his redesign. The main character of TWEWY will be in the newest Kingdom Hearts, you should really play it. I only just recently got into it but it's amazing.
It is supposed to take place.... ummmm, I'm pretty sure somewhere around the first game, so I believe that's why Sora's hair is like that and Riku's hair is shorter.

hahaha I don't think a lot of people had an interest in it before this, but my goodness, this addition just threw a curveball to a lot of people. I wanted a twewy crossover when I played too, but I didn't think they'd actually do it! And yeah, I guess Riku goes to the Hunchback of Notre Dame world, they showed it in the preview I read about.
