Well, in the classic style of smokers or dieters, I am announcing
my intentions to quit being a pack rat.
I was going to joke about finding a twelve step program, but then it wouldn't be anonymous....
And I'm not just being flippant. It is REAL problem. Sure I am mocking myself, because, well, it shouldn't have ever gotten to be an actual problem

I have been fighting this tendency my whole life. You can read back through my LJ to see some of the techniques I've been using recently. My big concept: It's not a single goal, it's a process. Some days are better than others. Don't try to do it all at once; take small steps. Keep one counter clean, then expand outward.
Do it! It's worth it!
