It's really interesting how sometimes what we believe and what we know contradict, and we always go with what we believe. I guess it's because we can't choose what we know, but we can choose what we believe. Given a choice, anyone will choose, well...choice.

i guess that goes on with what you hope you knew.... what you hope was actually reality.

you can choose what you believe but you can't erase all the contradicting counter facts of everything.

i often try to change the way i believe, or view things but it never changes. I dont know if this is relivent to your topic but yeah i could ramble on this " change, people changing, emotions changing, truth,... etc..." for hours.
