My hunch is because the paths to the images in the lightbox script are relative. In the lightbox.js file, try changing
var fileLoadingImage = "images/loading.gif";
var fileBottomNavCloseImage = "images/closelabel.gif";
to
var fileLoadingImage = "http://www.oneofthejohns.com/art/images/loading.gif";
var fileBottomNavCloseImage = "http://www.oneofthejohns.com/art/images/closelabel.gif";
