[Lucas is busy doing his favorite thing in Vertiline, exploring the Eider forest. It relaxes him, really. The trees were great for climbing.
After Eir's message, he was on the lookout for new arrivals. It was probably startling for them. Least he could do was help a little.]

So, while being pulled into an alternate universe is strange, it's perhaps a bit more bearable for her than some others. Well, it might have been if she'd gotten Eir's message BEFORE she appeared in Eider forest.
It's with a very startled cry, therefore, that she appears mid-air and crashes down into a bush.

She hears someone or something moving through the brush to her right, and stops instantly to crouch and watch for who it might be. Without knowing where she is, she has to be on the lookout for whatever mouth-foaming humans could be around.]

Lucas stayed put. He kept his eyes on her. He remembered campfire stories of the undead. She definitely looked like one, but he didn't recall any stories in which they spoke.]
