This place is called Johto. I'm not certain who the woman calling herself your mother is, exactly, but I also met her when I first came here.

That ball is called a Pokeball. Have you tried pressing the button in the center?

[The kid blinks and looks at the ball, finally realizing the round thing in the middle is a button.]

Huh... nuh uh.

[And before he can think twice about it, he pushes that button, and abruptly there's a squirtle tackling his face. And making him drop the Gear.]

You're in a place called Johto now and the ball you're holding is called a pokeball. If it's not an empty one it should be holding a creature inside it.

Normally what ever is in there isn't very small. It's not stuck in there either, if you press the button in the center of it you'll let it out.

[Curious, Yuu looks for the button, finds it, and presses it. Smart he is not, because he opened it with the button facing him-- so the next thing you see is the screen falling, and a loud thump and WAAAAAH! as suddenly he finds a Squirtle in his face.]

[Not thinking twice about it, he pokes that button curiously-- and with a bright red flash and a very loud "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!", the Gear drops the the ground as the sound of someone being tackled by an overenthusiastic blue turtle pops up.]
