Given the damage to the engine, I wouldn't even consider the "slim" side of the "slim to none" scale.

Ikki's been talking about a way to control where the Victoria II puts down. If it's plausible, we can have an edge on this, unless they decide to skip their fancy little trials and just blast us into nothing from the sky.
We need to get a lay of the land. The Badlands isn't known for its cartography, but even without a map we can approximate certain things. If have something in mind then get the pilots out there to give you reports.
As for the gunners: I say at this point we put anyone who can point and shoot up there. We're probably going to need all the firepower we can get.
If this good-for-nothing network would stay up for half a second I could attempt to hack the journals of the Victoria II's crew... damn it.

Our cannons are fine from what I last inspected before I left here!
We should have enough ammo to fend off the Ivonian forces, Hiruma.
If not we need to plan with haste.
