not gonna lie; i love being able to crawl out of bed, throw on some pants, and go downstairs and grab a latte.

my wallet, however, probably doesn't.

i want life to slow down

it's odd being back in this cloudy city. perhaps, it won't be so bad, here on the second floor flat overlooking the garbage, above a coffee shop. perhaps, it will even be good.

missing you hurts.
i'm sitting on the couch next to you, but knowing that i leave 5 am wednesday makes my heart ache.

i'm anxious for my new job, anxious for what this may be opening for me, worried it means leaving my old self behind.

i'm in a complete panic.
never have i been this disorganized in a move.
i leave in 6 hours.
holy crap not ready.

and mentally, no where near ready.

i've been having nightmares every night this past week.
i hardly ever dream, let alone have nightmares.
and it takes me hours to fall asleep.

i met a guy yesterday who wants to some day be that old crotchety guy in shakespeare plays.

...nice life goal there, indeed.

he's just starting college. i'm just ending. it's funny how those things i wanted when i was in his place are falling in to place now. funny and scary, that i've made things real.
i hope it'll be so for him.
