How do you get duct tape residue off plastic? I've had tons of it on one of my crates, holding it together (don't ask -- I didn't do it). I put the clips back on and took most of the tape off, but there's a ton of icky sticky stuff. I'd like to save money and not buy anything, so if there's something around the house I could use, it would be very ( Read more... )

There was a can of WD-40 in the house so I tried it and *poof* the stuff went away. Of course, you had to let it soak for a few seconds first. Then it works much better.

Go into Wal-Mart or a grocery store and get this stuff called "Goo Gone". It works..don't buy it though..just go in the store and put some on a rag or in a little plastic cup ;)
