My stewardess aunt dropped off a pile of books and magazines last Sunday. Best sellers, Oprah-recommended novels, celebrity gossip magazines, GQ (yay!)---they came from the airline's subscriptions and from passengers who leave behind their reading materials. do you raid book sale stores? sometimes they got great back issues of obscure (at least in this country anyway) but interesting magazines. i used to collect fader mags (thefader.com) until it got too hiphop :P

I love GQ too! My mom would also bring home back issues for her nephew, but I'd always manage to read the feature articles on hot celebrities and their commentaries on political issues (in fairness, this was even before and after I joined debsoc, and I don't think their commentaries weren't bad at all). I couldn't help but think each time I read GQ, "Why can't InStyle be less superficial sometimes?"
