Being pregnant....

I have some thoughts on this. While I can actually form coherent and fluid thought, I shall share them. We are just past six months along ( Read more... )

He is already tormenting his father. While he will kick and squirm and do cartwheels throughout the day, the minute J puts his hand on my belly, he stops all activity...I think this is an early form of 'Hide and Go Seek'.

And no matter how much you poke and prod he will not move... he's going to be good at hide and seek I think.

Love you

~Our tap water suddenly tastes funny to me....among other things that normally taste fine. I have stopped asking whether or not it's just me. It is.

Really? Because everyone else on my flist is complaining about Plano water too. It tastes like sewer. Yick.

Well, the main opinion I have to go on is J's...and he isn't much of a water drinker unless it has diet coke in it. :) So this makes me feel much better. It looks like I'll be stocking up on some bottled variety.

yay for baby update! I've been wondering how you've been doing.... :)

Regarding movies/shows.... It doesn't get any better after the kiddo's born. I've had to permanently change what I can watch. I always thought my mom was such a sap. No, it's just a mom thing. I can watch other stuff, no problem - - it's just things that involve children that get to me. I used to LOVE apocalypse/post-apocalypse movies and books. Now I have to be careful with them because the writers/authors like to get that emotional poke in by using what would happen to the small ones as a story push. grr.

As far as tormenting his dad goes, give it another few weeks - he won't be ABLE to hide nearly as well. Pretty much every movement is obvious by 7-8 months because they're so much bigger. Then it gets kind of odd again because they don't have as much room to move around, so the movements aren't so pokey anymore. :)

That toy is AWESOME. I had to add it to my wishlist too. heheheeheh

Yes, your recent baby post got me to looking at how long it had been since I had posted. Thanks for the reassurances. And if I haven't said it lately or before...I miss you guys. Hugs!

Great toy. :)

I remember the heat doing miserable things to W, too. Here's hoping for cooler weather soon.

Glad to see an update, and yeah, the water in Plano even tastes funny to me (and that's AFTER we filter it at work).

I was afraid of that...the water tasting funny even after filtering. I think I'll stock up on bottled. I'd rather do that and stay hydrated. Hugs!

I loved being pregnant! You are so right though. Strange things start happening with your body. I have always loved (and still do) eggs any way you can cook them. However while I was pregnant I couldn't stand being anywhere near them! Made me sick! Once I had my sweet baby I loved them again. I also craved pizza. In truth it was the cheese on top of the pizza I was craving and that was part of a calcium & potassium deficiency that was going on. Your body knows better than you do what you need and it sends you messages. Clear messages when you're pregnant! Listen to your body, use your judgement and you will do just fine ( ... )

LOL...thank you for this...I love it. I just haven't been online long enough to reply until today.

As far as the shower info...as soon as we finish our registry I will share it with everyone on here. Big HUGS to you and yours!
