Layoff
Got laid off from Virgin. Not happy. Damn economy. But living in the Boston area I feel very lucky.
3 consulting jobs have come in. The one I'm most excited about is helping a good friend grow her business...the zen kitchen. :)
The photo gig/consulting is unpaid until a grant comes in. That too is to help a friend.

Twenty Ten
As I write this I'm just about as snowed in as a human can get. We have been in Maine since New Year's Eve. We had a really nice dinner on the way up in Kittery. Normally we don't have time for that during the trip up but we had an earlier start than normal.
It has been snowing non stop since then. :)

Cousins brunch
Had the cousins over for brunch today. Thank goodness the cold T had our entire vacation is gone now.
So I had to meet one of my cousins in the middle. Had to have her come 1 hour before the rest of the guests. Decided to serve bagels and fruit first to accomodate. Hot food was served an hour later. Good move because everyone was happy!

Our front steps have mums and pumpkins.
There's not a cloud in the sky.
I'm drinking cider from Bolton, MA. mmmmmm. That valley has the bestapplesever.

My CFO may consider a potluck instead of co lunch for our next co meeting (well duh, if you're trying to get cash flow positive...)
