I love you. This cracked me up, especially your conversation with the vet. Aww Ming is so adorable! Can you blame me for trying to snuggle up to her when I was there? *grins*
oof, i'm feeling shy now...if you're a teacher, you're probably reading my fic and seeing all kinds of errors *eeps*
But I thought this was so cool and what an interesting life you've had. Mine is so very very boring. It's work, school, work, school, car accident, hospital...etc, etc..
lol, don't be silly. i'm not a grammar!nazi, i promise. :D
i used to think that i'd sort of gotten the travel bug out of my system. i'm not really that adventurous in spirit, though you'd think i would be. i really missed america eventually, and wanted to start my real life.
only now that i have, i miss korea a lot. ~shrugs~ such is life.
yeah, i had somebody speeding and side swipe me, keep on going (luckily other people didn't) I had some injuries, it kinda changed some thigns...I'm okay mostly but I have herniated disks and some other things as a result.
and i didn't think you were...but i am a little shy now about what you may think *smiles*
i always wanted to travel, you know you could always go back again, teach english as a second language, my friend in malaysia, that's what she does. (or maybe they learn english there anyway...i don't know enough about Korea to know)
You've had a very interesting life so far! I wish I could get up and leave and work in another country, too. That would be quite the adventure~ But no, I'm stuck here for now, working in a company I can tolerate on most days. I just began to work though, so... Maybe I'll find it better as time goes by :D
Hahaha! For a moment, I thought you named your cat Ming because of Sungmin. It's still a cute name though!
And that is sad, discovering them when you were about to leave XD Still, at least you were in the same country as them and could understand videos and such without subs. What's it like in South Korea?:D
I'm kinda scared because you're an English teacher XD English was one of my worst subjects when I was in high school and college. I passed them, but barely. Grammar really, really hates me hahaha! It's hard for me to speak in straight English. I get so conscious about it because my classmates were so fluent in the language. I was always so afraid I'd mess up and say something that's grammatically incorrect. At least I'm

lol, you're the second person to express intimidation over the fact that i'm an english teacher. yes, i have a fairly decent grasp of the english language, and i get squicky about some errors, but i haven't devoted my life to the art of grammar, and i spend enough time grading papers that i try to read with a very uncritical eye here. :D

if i had had more suju in my life the whole time, i probably would never have left. (i'm only half-kidding, is that sad? :D) -- It's not sad! Well, even if it is, we're on the same boat XD Whenever I need to de-stress, watching suju makes things infinitely better. It's strange, how people we only see on the net can make us happy by just goofing off. Thinking about it, it is kinda sad hahaha. But! They make us happy, so who cares what others think, right

I like this post :D the bit about being an English teacher and majoring in Creative Writing makes so much sense. I feel you on the freshman/soph/junior 15. I haven't lost weight since I stopped running... in high school, haha. It's especially hard for people who did sports in high school and then quit, I think :( Good luck with the half-marathon!
Also, it's awesome that you got the Fulbright to teach in Korea! Sounds like you had a great time there.
