I post on LJ to just get my feelings out, I dont care if ppl know and/or care, it's a place to bitch, and its somewhere to get my feelings out...hmmm, dont know.

At times when it feels as though life is simply an exercise in pretending it is best to wonder what makes such a beautiful thing seem so worthless. Life is what you make of it chiquita. You have to make it worth your time to be who you are and let the people around you deal with it. It takes such courage and such resolve--but you are strong, strong enough to be who you want to be and to be who you are. Fuck presentation. You're in college now. You've done the lip service to get a job and to begin your education. Now's the time to rediscover that which you have lost and buried. There's nothing to be done but discover who you are again if you're lost.

I know that life is what you make it and all that but I don't think " I've done my lip service" it's not like this is the last time I'm gonna have to behave a certain way to get or keep a job. And also I've been thinking that it's what you do w/ and for other people that's way more important than who you feel about yourself today on the inside. Yeah insides are important but people met your outside first and if they hate it doesn't matter how happy you are if there's no one to share it w/.
