Thanks, Claire. I've flagged the story to ff.net, but every little bit helps. Seriously, at this point, though, I'm more annoyed that she had to lift practically the entire story only to leave out Samantha's last lines. I mean, if you're going to recite practically the whole thing and then tack on a really shitty sequel, you can at least recite all of it.

No, it's totally different and therefore not plagiarized, because her Samantha has blonde hair and blue eyes and Tor has blue eyes and "dark brown auburn/ brown hair," of course!

I think that boggles me more than the plagiarism. Plagiarism, bad as it is, I get. Changing the established hair and eye color of your main characters is just WTF.

But, tall and dark is more preferable than tall and blond! Don't you understand? What I'm trying to understand is why she likes Tor and Samantha if she's so shallow she has to change the color of their hair.

Yeah, almost word for word. I think the only serious change is what Samantha says at the end. Plus, she tacks on a second chapter that is, I suppose, her own work. I can only deduce from this that if I'd just written a sequel perhaps this never would have happened.
