A local entertainment columnist for the New Orleans Times-Picayune wrote an article about that show back in July and I remember wanting to see the show just so hear the actors' terribly exaggerated Louisiana accents, haha.

But yes, I'm sort of sick of the whole vampire love story thing too, but maybe because I'm just not into all of that stuff.

I haven't seen all of the first episode yet, so I'll reserve judgment until I do. But...from what I can tell it's just a serious cashing in on the Twilight phenomenon. Which was already bad enough.

My interest in vampire love stories sort of began and ended with Buffy. Everything else seems sub par to me. Or unneeded. Or bad. Take your pick.

Right there with you on that.

And I am also over Twilight, without even having gotten into it. Please, no more!

I meant with the BtVS being the only interesting vampire-love story, eh, forgot to say that.

I am sick of them. Except for Moonlight. Which they cancelled. Fuckers.

I tried to get into Moonlight, but I lost interest about halfway through the season. I watched the whole episode of True Blood, and frankly I thought it was pretty funny. If I had HBO I'd probably watch it for kicks.

Otherwise, I cannot wait for everyone to get over the horribleness of Twilight and collectively move on with their lives.
