So I just came over to check out your new journal.

YOU'RE WATCHING TRUE BLOOD!!

I am very excited about this :D I am marginally obsessed. And that's all I'm gonna say because I don't know what you have and have not seen ;)

OH ITS SO GOOD TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS. I keep talking at Boyfriend and Mother and THEY DON'T KNOW.

I have seen all apart from yesterday's episode which I will watch tonight when I return from the gym. I started downloading it last Sunday and had watched it all by Weds night. I saw it was coming to FX and got all exciteded and then looked it up on Virgin Media and it was gonna cost us an extra £20 a month to pick up the channel. BUGGER THAT. Anyways its a good job cause I'm good and obsessed already! Anna ♥

Oh, I KNOW. HEE. You need to MAKE THEM KNOW. I've pushed it onto a lot of people almost entirely without fail.

That's some seriously impressive speed :D I'm glad you decided to shun FX and download, it's distressing to me when people are behind, lol. It really is additive as hell, God damn. AND THIS WEEK'S WAS BRILLIANT. I have sooo much love for Anna ♥ You know that she's with Stephen Moyer in real life, right? That they're all madly in love for real. GUH.

I've read bits and pieces so I knew they were together, HEE. And STEPHEN MOYER. I'm totally not in love with him or anything (YET) seen as I know nothing about his career, but NY-LON. That's all I need to know!!

I'll try and get Boyfriend into it eventually. Probably when the DVDs come out, then lend them to mum when she's finished with OTH. She's only capable of one show at a time, hehe. We've both got so much more spare time now we work with Graham and sometimes when he goes to Portugal on business we 'work' from home and catch up on DVDs. ITS AWESOME.

I'm incapable of being available for something at the right time every week and always miss episodes. Except Total Wipeout, I manage to watch that with my tea on a Saturday night. WIN. So downloading is definitely the way to go.

Ooh also, Anna is in Sunday's You magazine that comes with the Mail on Sunday, don't know if you'll have seen it. I'm gonna scan and crap when I get it off my mum.

You mean I'm not alone in my True Blood obsession, er, joy?! YAY! It's a lovely dark fairy-tale sort of thing. Vampires and shifters and maenads, oh my! Plus, you know, all the yummy guys to ogle, er, admire. Three cheers for Ms. Harris and Mr. Ball! How cool is it that Bill and Sookie are dating and that Mr. Moyer and Ms. Paquin are engaged?!

I love the layout of your journal: the background, the lovely picture, the "If it were easy, everyone would be doing it" monologue.

WELL HAI.

True Blood WINS. I really love my shit dark and TB just ticks all the right boxes! I think Stephen and Anna are one of the cutest couples OF ALL TIME. Possibly second behind Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard. I ship them so hard.

And thank you, I can't take credit for the background, its by scholarslayouts who has the most gorgeous selection of free layouts, you should totally check them out :))) the graphic is mine though, so ta! *G* And the monologue is actually from a packet of tea! HOW CUTE??? I love tea.

I love tea, too. Especially on days like today when it's wicked cold and my hands are all icy. There's a sort of tea called YOGI which is licorice flavored and has wise sayings attached to the bag. I drink the tea and read the sayings and generally feel At Peace With the World. So...yeah. :-)

I'm the only one in my family who likes True Blood. My mom will come in and see me watching something and ask what I'm watching and then say, "Oh. True Blood" in a kind of resigned, affectionately exasperated voice. Hee.

Funny...my dad and I were watching HOUSE the other day and it was a rather serious episode and I was paying attention with half my mind when, I kid you not, Wilson (one of the characters) made a True Blood reference!! THAT made me pay attention! Even though I was outwardly still, inside I was jumping up and down and up and down and dancing around and around. So...yeah. :-)

Here endeth the gushing. Please douse the author in cold tea before continuing. Thank you. Drive through.

If you like your shit dark, may I suggest you rent SWEENEY TODD as-directed-by-Tim-Burton? Or you could try tracking down the Ray Winstone adaptation, or the cast recording with Len Cariou and Angela Lansbury, or any of the other versions, audio or visual. *That's* nice and dark. Hmm...I could see Bill, in a fit of existential angst, going to see this when it is first presented in the '70s.
