i got my results. i did really well. almost all a's and b's yay. two f's..which i knew i was getting because i didn't sit those exams. and one e in home economics, which was obvious too (i didn't hand in a craft project, or do the cookery part, which meant i lost out on over 50%) so i did pretty fucken well in

lol, I meant to post more than that..but, umm..i'm not much of a photographer, but what made you choose that one. I'm looking for a camera close to that, that's good quality, and has more of a professional look to it, than an ordinary camera.

thanks! well basically my budget was about 700-1000 as i wanted to spend more on lenses (for a good lens your gonna pay at least 250+..lenses are more important than the actual camera body) but i went in the store and asked to hold this one and a similar model by canon. canons camea felt really cheap (and at 1200 euro its NOT cheap..translates to about 1600 dollars if you live in america) plus it was REALLY small in my opinion..unless you have tiny hands its just not comfortable to hold. then other things were, you can get a lens with the camera (its usually a cheap lens for about $100 extra but its ok for everyday use) and the nikon lens has been known to be much better than the one supplied by canon. nikon SLRS take SD memory cards rather than flash memory cards (SD cards are cheaper plus i had one from my regular "everyday" digital camera so i saved $150+ on that) the nikon has the ability to shoot more continus frames than the canon. the nikon camera has better noise at all iso levels. your best bet is to set a budget and research
