A/N: First fic.
"Its from. Seunghyun hyung."
Jiyong froze.
He was pretty sure the other 3 did too.
Letters from Seunghyun were not a good thing.
He hated the receiving letters from him.
Annoying Seunghyun who don't have the guts to say things to their face always wrote letters to inform them of something. Usually something big.
It wasn't any different this time.
"Hyung is.."
Seungri choked on his own words.
"Is what? Quickly maknae."
Jiyong's phone rang, cutting Seungri off before he could continue his sentence again.
He picked up it, please let it be Seunghyun..
"Seunghyun?" He said, tinge of hope in his voice.
"Ji, is Seunghyun in the dorm?"
Jiyong heart practically sank when he heard Hyun Suk's voice. It was not Seunghyun. He wanted to hang up as soon as he heard that it was not who he wished it was and hear what Seungri was about to say about the letter's content. But Hyun Suk was asking about Seunghyun. Something must be wrong.
"No. Why?"
He didn't receive a reply for his question.
"Damn, I just heard the message, I knew I should have sent my phone for repair earlier..."
Hyun Suk's voice trailed off and then he hung up.
The hell? What was that, and what message?
He turned to face the 3 of them, who were now looking at him.
They had. scared. worried expressions?
"What?"
"Seunghyun hyung is having his op now.."
The sentence was said quietly, but it sounded really defeaning to Jiyong's ears. Like a bomb that just exploded on him.
"Which. hospital?" Two most important words for him right now that he managed to cough out.
He felt like he was going to faint, but he was not going to, he wanted to be near Seunghyun.
Jiyong got his answer, grabbed his car kets and ran out of the foor.
He started up his car and drove to where Seunghyun was.
"Which room is Choi Seunghyun in? Choi Seunghyun.."
The nurse looked up in shock. Jiyong was practically shouting.
"I-I'm sorry, the patient you're looking for has specified not to give out any infom..."
"He's my god damn boyfriend!" His voice shrilled. A pitch higher now.
The nurse looked at the guy, bangs covering his eyes, face slapped with sweat, chest heaving up and down unevenly, he looked like he just ran a marathon. She felt sorry for him, this Choi patient must really mean a lot to him.
"He is currently in operation room 2.."
Jiyong took off. He didn't even know where the room was.
And the big maze like layout of the hospital didn't help him at all.
But he found it, somehow. A turn to the right, and following something that told him to go left at the next turn, and then right again.
The operation was still ongoing.
He sat on the floor, head against his knees.
"Please let him be okay.."
It was 9:43 am.
9:50 am.
Youngbae, Daesung and Seungri all made their way here.
10:00 am.
Hyunsuk came along too, with their manager.
Hyunsuk was muttering to himself.
Jiyong was too tired and distracted to care what was he saying to himself, even though he wanted to, he had heard mentions of Seunghyun.
11:00 am.
Still not done.
12:00 pm.
Seungri and Daesung went to get food for everyone while Youngbae stayed with Jiyong.
He refused to eat.
1:00 pm.
Jiyong was still sitting on the floor, he didn't move at all.
Dongwook came with Teddy.
2:00 pm.
Seungri and Daesung went to get coffee, they were like. the errands couple.
He didn't want it.
He don't need the caffeine to stay awake.
2:30 pm.
Damn the stupid doctors for taking such a long time.
Hyun Suk had to leave for a while.
He said he would be back.
3:00pm.
Jiyong's legs were really numb.
But he didn't want to move.
Youngbae tried to get him to move about, it was not good for his legs and body,
He don't care.
3:30pm.
Hyun Suk came back.
He brought Seunghyun's family along. His family didn't know at all, they hadn't got a clue. Seunghyun was always joking and laughing whenever he took the time to visit.
Jiyong can't stand him sometimes, What the hell was he thinking, keeping this from his own family? Now his mother was crying, very badly, like his sister. His father kept a pursed lip, but showed worry through his eyes, while holding his wife and daughter. His heart broke even more watching this scene in front of him. He kind of blamed himself, Seunghyun was spending all the time with him, not with his real family.. He had never once asked if Seunghyun's family knew, he was too caught up with having Seunghyun to himself. If only he did think about them, they probably won't be in such a horrible state now..
4 pm.
2ne1 arrived. Now it was like a family reunion for Seunghyun. YG family and Seunghyun's family together. All that was missing was just the main character alone..
4:47 pm.
The operation red lights went off.
The doctor walked out. He had an unreadable expression on his face.
What did it mean.
His facial expression didn't look like the op failed, but did it mean it was a success?
Everybody crowded around the doctor.
Jiyong didn't move.
As much as he wanted to know, he was scared to find out.
So everyone was standing around the doctor while Jiyong stayed on the floor.
Someone tapped him on the shoulder.
This is it. Why was he so afraid. Seunghyun would be fine.
He would be.
He had to be.
