So I'm sure many of you have heard by now about the student in Florida who spent too much time asking John Kerry a question, got too loud, and refused to leave or stop talking, and got forcibly escorted out by 6 policemen who, AFTER wrestling him to the ground, tasered him. Shortly following that statement in the NYTimes transcript, possibly as a response to a heckler:

You have free speech so I can be heard.

And this speech was in 1994, so "lost his brain after 9/11" isn't an excuse. He's been a creepy authoritarian for quite a while.

I suppose it just might be preferable to having him hypocritically pretend he gives a damn about "rights". But only if he loses.

Notice how they _always_ have to immobilize someone first, then Tazer them? It's because if you're standing and unrestrained when you get tazered you can just drop to the ground and roll, breaking the contact wires.
