the computer most definitely evolved, it started out requiring the space of a building and now fits in the palm of your hand. It didn't just spring up overnight all perfect and stuff.

also the Christian community doesn't even realize how much it owes to science, at one point in history someone had to figure out parchment, the printing press, and the various engineering feets that went into building a church. Just look at the Hagia Sophia, that church still stands because some ancient Byzantines figured out how to distribute the weight of a giant heavy dome. Modern Christians rely a lot on modern technology to get their word across, like the internet (duh) but for their churches they use microphones and speakers, video, electricity, climate control, and mass-production (unless that carpeting was made by hand of course.) And last but not least, water sanitation, because I know I'm not getting baptized without it.

ahh sanitation. i am a fan of that!
the selective acceptance of realty just blows my mind. We use our understanding of evolution to develop vaccines. If you've gotten a flu shot, thats our understanding of evolution at work.
Evolution works well enough to keep these peoples kids from getting sick but not explaining the world.. even though the reason it allows us to create vaccines is Because it describes the world.
