Christians, do the sins of our brothers and sisters in Christ break our hearts to the point where we love them to the point of begging God to have mercy on their behalf? Do we love the lost people around us to that extent? We should.
yes! this is something that God has been dealing with me on for a little while now. i want my heart to break when His heart breaks....and His heart breaks over souls.
i agree with you that the church must have unity. Jesus prayed to the Father about this very thing. "I do not pray for these alone [His disciples], but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they may all [emphasis mine] be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me." (John 17:20-21 NKJV) we wonder why many do not the church seriously...especially here in amaerica.
i could on but i won't. thank you for posting this. (i am not sure how you found me, but it is great to see you on here as well as xanga.)
