man, I went crazy on my guitar tonight. not crazy good, per se, but crazy. It was much fun. Earlier, though, I was in quite a terrible mood. Still don't know why, but a few moments cuddling with the kitty completely cured me of it, Praise God. Perhaps I'll marry that cat after all

Nope, Audacity is a free audio recording software for PC, Mac, and Linux. It allows one to overdub as many layers as one wants. It's very user-friendly and useful (and a lot better than Windows's Sound Recorder!). Not as powerful or as varied as say, Cakewalk or Pro Tools, but you have to pay for those.
