Thank God I didn't buy this album!

Well, after much high recommendation from my musical friends and peers, I finally got to listen to Pain of Salvation. Despite his anti-American inklings, I liked Daniel Gildenow's vocal work already due to the fact I have his first album with The Flower Kings (Adam & Eve, which is an album I like rather a lot). I was ready for a prog-metal feast,

Sure...it was free. Something tells me it's going to be the only dud in the bunch too. What a dissapointment after all the good things I was told.

I reviewed this album when it came out last year and didn't like it myself. So yeah you really got the wrong first PoS album to listen to. Start with Remedy Lane, which is my personal favorite.
