An open letter to a conservative blog I once liked...

To those who may not know, I am boycotting a conservative blog called Hotair.com because of one writer's incessant attacks on Glenn Beck, who is my favorite radio talk show host. Me, my wife, and many of my friends love his work. If none of you haven't seen the DVD Unelectable, I suggest you do! Also, buy one of his books!

I agree mostly with what you said. A few things, though

Maybe I am a bit hard on the guy, but he just gets my blood boiling with all his atheist stories, when he knows most people on the right are believers in God. I don't know what his personal vendetta against Glenn Beck is. Maybe because he (Beck) calls himself a libertarian and is a social conservative (which is not a bad thing at all. Ted Nugent: Libertarian and social conservative. Lots of libertarians are social conservatives) As for me I'll probably just have no party affiliation when I change my voter reg again. But anyway, if that makes him mad he needs to shut his mouth.

And yes, most GOP's are against Obama policy-wise and that is true. But, everytime I hear John Boenher talk it's like listening to Nancy Pelosi before the Dems took the House. Same song, different words. Gets old after a while. I do hope that the GOP stays the course and keeps the fight up...BUT...if they regain control of Congress in 2010 they can't drop the principles just because they are in power again. Then, it will be more than just talk.
